There’s a new property portal that is looking to compete with some of the biggest names in the industry. Developed by GabrielsTechnology Solutions, the developer behind Douglas Elliman and Christie’s International Real Estate, Homes.NYC is a unique and innovative way to search for a home in New York City.

Homes.NYC offers home hunters high-resolution, aerial neighborhood videos, and exclusive building videos, photos, and virtual tours with more listings in Manhattan to sift through than competitors StreetEasy.

Michael Gabriel, the owner of Gabriels Technology Solutions, said:

"Video provides consumers with a unique experience, bringing them to the entrance of their new residence. New York City is one of the most iconic cities in the world and Homes.NYC is the only search site that combines the beauty of aerial neighborhood and building video with the properties inside.”

Homes.NYC’s main objective is to offer consumers the best way to advertise their listings possible. The platform displays contact information of the listing agents and firm on every property so that users are able to connect directly with the right real estate professional on their own time.

Homes.NYC is also aimed at international consumers whose first language is not English, as the platform offers its site in 19 languages, can display 59 currencies, and offers metric conversion.

On the emphasis Homes.NYC puts on the connection between consumer and agent, Tom Morgan, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Gabriels, explains:

"There are many different types of home seekers, each with their own set of requirements and timeline. Agents need a way to efficiently and productively work to meet each of their clients' unique needs. This requires a streamlined, easy-to-use system that enables agents to quickly chase down new listings as well as keep their clients up-to-date on key status updates impacting their favorites. All communications between the agent and client are organized so that agents can help buyers and renters at every step on their journey.”
