Zoopla sees 36% spike in valuation leads

A 36% spike in valuation leads has been reported by Zoopla recently.

The rise, measured year on year, was described as “evidence that Zoopla’s refreshed strategy, following Silver Lake’s £2.2 billion investment, is taking hold and yielding results”.

Zoopla described January as a “hugely successful” month, with 55.3 million site visits to its property portals – compared with an average of 50 million per month throughout last year. Last January, Zoopla reported 58 million visits to its  property websites.

Zoopla said it has recently increased its marketing spend, product innovation and enhancements to the consumer experience.

Zoopla said that it has invested more than any other portal over the last five years, and has 94% prompted brand awareness – ahead of Rightmove and OnTheMarket.

Launched in 2008, Zoopla has since been one of the fastest growing websites in the UK, now attracting over 40 million visits per month and they are proud to have collected numerous awards and accolades along the way, including being named one of the Top 10 UK Tech Companies (Guardian) and one of the Top 10 Most Innovative UK Companies (Smarta).
