Zoopla has released survey findings showing that 37% of Brits expect to see their home listed for sale on Zoopla, while just 7% expect to list on OnTheMarket.

The survey of over 2000 nationally representative respondents was carried out by YouGov and asked respondents to identify which platform they would expect to see their home advertised on if they were to put it up for sale.

54% of respondents cited Rightmove.

Zoopla, which CEO Charlie Bryant says is historically popular in London, was a close second in the capital, with 33% of respondents in London saying Zoopla compared with 39% for Rightmove. OnTheMarket again lagged behind at 7%.

Rich Hayes, Chief Operating Officer at Zoopla said:

"We’re pleased to share the results of this survey with our customers and shine a light on the strength of the Zoopla brand and its iconic purple across every region of the UK. This combined with the launch of our upcoming marketing campaign and product innovations will ensure we hit the ground running in 2025, driving even more motivated movers and ROI for our agent customers."
