Property management software provider looks to protect communities with new integration

Yardi® Breeze has a goal of aiding apartment complexes by safeguarding their business operations. Property managers who use the feature are now able to screen residents more easily through the integration with Yardi Resident Screening.

Yardi Resident Screening is an online tenant screening system that quickly and efficiently offers comprehensive reports to that property managers can make more informed decisions when selecting tenants and minimize risks that could potentially harm their apartment communities.

Powered by Certn, a risk-relevant database, the screening process uses data from thousands of public records and incorporates AI and machine learning to find prospective tenants. Certn data offers lists of high-risk behaviors, criminal and court records from about 240 countries, 350 Canadian court boards and tribunals, adverse media, eviction records, watch lists and social media profiles.

"Resident qualification is a critical part of the leasing process. Screening in Breeze is a fast, powerful and reliable solution at an affordable price."

— Peter Altobelli, Vice President and General Manager of Yardi Canada Ltd
