Workelo offers a SaaS solution through AI that aids HR managers by erasing any operational friction related to the arrival, the transfer, or the departure of a collaborator in the company (administrative, material, formation, meeting, feedback, etc), to offer a successful and engaging experience. Having won over nearly 50 industry leaders within months of activities (including EDF, Saint Gobain and IKKS), Workelo now announces the successful completion of a 1.1 million euro funding round conducted among HR experts and successful entrepreneurs.
Workelo, the platform that supports onboarding to offboarding
1 employee in 5 plans to leave the company from the first day; 1 out of 3 executives have already resigned because of poor integration (with an average cost of 7000 euros); nearly 74% of departures are incomplete... The poor management of all these and more make for higher company expenses.
Faced with this observation, Alexandre Grenier (former partner at MakeMeReach acquired by Perion) and Mathieu Cochet (polytechnician, ex-Bain & co) decided to create Workelo in 2017, a platform boosted with artificial intelligence which helps managers and HR make decisions and support operations such as preboarding, onboarding, crossboarding, and offboarding.
"We are very pleased to participate in Workelo's seed fundraiser whose mission addresses a major corporate concern," says Patrick Betrand and Alexandre Aulas, executives at Holnest. "Workelo assists HR directors, as well as operational managers, in the process of integrating employees, collaborators and freelancers. Onboarding is an essential link in the management of internal and external human resources. To integrate well is more immediate operational efficiency and a major act in the loyalty process. Today, companies are powerless to automate this process. Workelo responds to a real need that is not yet well addressed."
The platform can automate more than 150 time-consuming tasks, from managing administrative documents to preparing materials, training to follow or meetings to plan. Thanks to the plurality and the great simplicity of setting up its functionalities, the startup offers a clear overall vision, allowing managers and HR to effectively follow each advance, to unload the repetitive tasks of integration to ensure a better progression and development of employees.
Technology, the priority of Workelo in 2019
Thanks to the wealth of its solution and its successful deployment among dozens of customers in a few months, Workelo has convinced HR experts like Holnest, Patrick Bertrand of HR Google Europe, and David Bizer; as well as successful entrepreneurs like the SaaS model specialist Patrice Thiry (ProwebCE acquired by Edenred) or Fabienne Retif (SeLoger, BilletReduc).
With a fresh 1.1 million euros, the startup looks to expand its R & D to continue the development of its offer and its artificial intelligence in order to maintain its technological edge. This investment will also allow it to expand its sales teams to support more customers in order to establish its leading position in this fast-growing market.
Commenting on the new capital, Alexandre Grenier and Mathieu Cochet, Co-founders of Workelo, said:
"This first round will allow us to accelerate our development. We believe that Artificial Intelligence has the power to help the manager on a day-to-day basis, starting with the implementation of the integration processes and then the mobility of an employee, until his departure. We do not intend to replace the HR teams with this platform, but rather to relieve them of their constraints so that they can refocus on their core business: the human. The platform will also be more and more gamified and mobile for employees. We decided to be surrounded by HR experts and entrepreneurs for this event, which is a real plus for our development."
