Hager Unternehmensberatung highlights the importance of the results of a recent study by the online job portal StepStone on workplace collaboration - reports show that despite the uptick in popularity towards soft skills, "classic values" are still highly relevant in the digital world.

Out of some 14,000 experts and executives surveyed, more than 80% consider the organizational capability to be a decisive strength; in terms of time management, there were around 72% who classified this as "very relevant" for teamwork.

This shows particularly in the case of the young group of employees between the ages of 18 and 30, for whom digitization plays a major part in life. It is noticeable that successful time management is a high priority in the job hunt.

Despite the digital transformation and the progressive change in our work environments, New Work classic values such as self-organization and reliability remain very important.

"Especially in the age of digitization, it is essential to be able to hold onto structures and organize themselves and their tasks," says Martin Krill, Managing Director of Hager Unternehmensberatung, which specializes in executive search recruitment.

High decision and time pressure make it imperative in the digital age for employees to organize themselves accordingly.

"Good time management implies, on the one hand, correcting priorities and, on the other hand, that teams work reliably with each other and with the customer in particular, and that they adhere to agreed deadlines," Krill explains. "Although digital media supports this, it has to be done by the people themselves."

Hager Unternehmensberatung was founded nearly 25 years ago and employs over 100 people across Germany. Due to its partnership with Horton International, Hager Consulting is represented in 40 branches in the world's most important economic regions and is one of the top executive search consultancies internationally.
