Ministers of the UK are prepping to reveal a new benefit for the millions of mothers preparing to return to the workforce after having children, scheduled for Mother's Day.
Work and Pensions Secretary Amber Rudd will launch the Flexible Working website which will host 50,000 job adverts specifically aimed at women looking to strike a complicated work balance.
The Government initiative will be the first time women with childcare commitments will be catered for with employment opportunities tailored directly to their needs.
Last night, Ms Rudd opened up about her guilt over being a working mum.
She said: "It’s this experience that drives me to make it simpler and fairer for working Mothers to get back into the work.’ She continued: "Bringing up children on my own while trying to earn a living was a busy time for me. There are moments when one feels a pang of guilt as you rush off to work, knowing you may miss that special drama performance or school assembly."
