U.S. Department of Defense is on the prowl for an automated cloud hiring SaaS

According to a recent request for information (RFI), the U.S. Defense Digital Service (DDS) is in the market for a cloud-hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) to “improve, streamline, and automate its hiring process.”

In the RFI, DDS explains its goal to create a unified experience for potential candidates that reflects the agency’s innovative environment. The agency says that for many candidates, this hiring process is their only interaction with DDS and, therefore, the process should promote DDS values and standards.

“It is vital that the hiring process is designed well for those that are disappointed. The broader [Department of Defense] workforce will benefit from DDS providing internal applicants with actionable feedback identifying areas for professional development,” the document states.
