With the advent of the internet and digital tech, recruiting is quicker, easier, and cheaper than ever - online job referral platform The Referrers wholly agrees, and plans to leverage these facts.
The new platform uses the power of social media to spread the word about job openings posted by its partner companies.
"Everybody has a social media [page] now, a presence so we are able to spread the news-awareness; 1 ad becomes 100,000 job advertisements," said Deborah Davies, chief commercial officer of The Referrers.
The platform's users, called referrers, connect interested friends and families to job postings. Their CVs are then processed by machines to see if there is a match.
Referrers get paid for every successful match, while hiring companies see a 95-percent savings on the cost of hiring.
