Talentsoft, the European leader in training software and human capital management and number one French SaaS, has recently announced a fundraising of 45 million euros. This capital increase marks the arrival of a new investor Francisco Partners alongside Bpifrance and Goldman Sachshistorical investors who are strengthening their capital.

On this occasion, Jean-Stéphane Arcis, CEO of Talentsoft, unveils 3 strategic priorities:

  • International acceleration.
  • Innovation around the collaborating experience and HR data management.
  • Pivot on a technology platform model open to third-party applications.

EUR 45 million to strengthen its position as European leader in HR Tech

This fundraising is among the top 5 Internet and software launches in France in 2018. The capital raised will enable Talentsoft to consolidate its position as a European leader in human capital management software.

Talentsoft's ambition now rests on three strategic levers:

  • International acceleration: Mastering talent management issues and best practices in international groups, the Talentsoft solution is now used in more than 130 countries and available in 27 languages. The company intends to capitalize on this expertise to support its large customers in their global deployments. Today, already 40% of CAC 40 groups trust Talentsoft for their projects.
  • Innovation around employee experience and HR data management: First lab HR Tech in Europe, Talentsoft will rely on the strength of innovation of its hundreds of developers to transform the work experience of their millions of employees, and also to strengthen its Talentsoft HUB HR data management offering.
  • Pivot on a technology platform model open to third - party applications: Jean-Stéphane Arcis affirms the strategy of openness to make Talentsoft the number one HR Marketplace in Europe. The company will thus pivot from a SaaS model to an iPaaS (Integrated Platform as a Service) model. Technology partners will now have the opportunity to integrate new services, on a continuous basis, in order to respond as closely as possible to the companies' expectations.

"This fundraising is a new step in the history of Talentsoft, and we are proud to be backed by leading investors. Our historical partners, Bpifrance and Goldman Sachs, and the newcomer Francisco Partners, confirm with their confidence the relevance of our model. Thanks to our iPaaS strategic program, we have the ambition to go even further by becoming the first HR Tech platform in Europe. This will allow us to attract the most innovative players to our market and serve the transformation of the work experience of their millions of employees."

The emergence of a digital champion in Europe

Talentsoft is a French success story. Co-founded in 2007 by three entrepreneurs, Jean-Stéphane Arcis, Alexandre Pachulski, and Joël Bentolila, the company has since experienced rapid growth of over 33% in 2018. Today, it has 600 employees and aims to reach $100 million in revenue in the near future, a first for enterprise cloud software in Europe.

Focused on the collaborative experience, the Talentsoft model takes into account the complexity related to the cultural, linguistic and regulatory specificities of Human Resources management in Europe. It is also a highly anticipated alternative for global publishers in the highly strategic area of employee data management.

Talentsoft's 2000 customers include major groups such as Pôle Emploi, La Poste, EDF, SNCF, Vinci, Crédit Agricole and PSA. These reference companies have trusted the company to succeed in their digital HR transformation thanks to the Talentsoft suite which is based on 5 pillars: recruitment, evaluation, compensation, learning and core HR.

Finally, Talentsoft has distinguished itself this year on several occasions:

  • It was awarded the Trophées des Futures Licornes in March 2018, joining the club composed of Doctolib and Vente-privée.
  • It was labeled a "Visionary" by Gartner in its Magic Quadrant for Software suite of Talent Management for the fifth consecutive year. Talentsoft was also awarded in this same study for customer satisfaction above the average of its competitors.
  • In September 2018, Mounir Mahjoubi, Secretary of State for Digital, named the company French Tech Pass Winner.
