Cologne-based digital learning platform Studydrive, founded back in 2013, has given over 700,000 students from over a hundred German, Austrian, and Swiss higher education universities the ability to share notes, guides, and access to potential jobs and internships.

Now, the Berlin-based recruitment company StepStone has taken over Studydrive. The amount of the deal has not been disclosed.

Studydrive is free for students, while companies pay for ads, mailings or job advertisements in the career sector.

Studydrive co-founder Sven Gasper said: “With Stepstone, we have found a partner who shares our vision of becoming the leading global student platform. We now want to grow as fast as possible in terms of user numbers and employees in order to expand and become a market leader.”
