Staffer AMN Healthcare buys out Stratus Video for a whopping $475 million

AMN Healthcare Services, Inc., an innovator in healthcare talent solutions and staffing services, announced a definitive agreement to acquire Stratus Video for a purchase price of $475 million.

The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to AMN's adjusted earnings per share.

Stratus Video, based in Clearwater, Florida, is the provider of video remote language interpretation services for the healthcare industry. The company has grown rapidly since its founding in 2012, surpassing $100 million in revenue in 2019. Based on fourth-quarter 2019 results, Stratus' twelve-month annualized run rate was approximately $119 million of revenue and $34 million of adjusted EBITDA.
