Spain-Holiday.com, a vacation rental platform, has gone through new ownership since the beginning of the month. Spain-Holiday.com's founder and owner, Claus Sorensen, will be sharing the seat with Jan Dal Lehrmann, Kenneth Anderson, and Jannich Friis Peterson, all with equal conditions and power.

Soresen stated that this move "will strengthen Spain-Holiday.com’s ability to set a strategy for strong performance in the coming years. With the incorporation of Jan, Kenneth and Jannich to the company we will be able to strengthen our brand value and attribution in Spain and we’ll have the opportunity to develop a more ambitious expansion plan”.

Each new owner is bringing their own taste of professional value to the table when it comes to the management of the company, as they share the same objective—achieve long-term goals planned for the Spanish travel platform. Between the four of them, they offer deep experience in managing online businesses in Europe, knowledge that they will use to develop niche and new markets as well as business-to-business and business-to-consumer strategies.

From the new owners

“I have defined even more my commitment and dedication to this company that now has even more potential to offer the best holiday homes in Spain for European travellers. We’ll live exciting years in the holiday rental industry and Spain-Holiday.com will make a landmark," says Friis Peterson, the current CEO of the travel platform.

Lehrmann, 50, has left Bilbasen as its Co-Founder, and Benjamin Media as its Investor and CEO, to joining the Spain-Holiday.com team. He devoted eight years to investing in startups, helping them grow and developing strategies to be implemented and scaled upon with non-executive roles. His most previous endeavors include Bilbasen, Autobutter, Bazoom, and Benjamin Media. Lahrmann states that “the potential of Spain-Holiday.com attracted me since the first time I spoke to Claus and I am sure that we will take the company to the next level”.

As for Andersen, the Founder and owner of several online companies, has a portfolio of an impressive 50+ websites. Formerly the Head of Motors in eBay Classifieds Northern Europe as well as the CEO of Bilbasen.dk, Andersen has deep experience in driving motor verticals in Denmark, as well as building up businesses, which he has been doing since the late 90's. Furthermore, he's been a member of Spain-Holiday.com's board since 2017.

Sorensen, the Founder of Spain-Holiday, currently owns 25% of the company and has had new projects in the works for the Spanish and Danish markets.

The ownership change will not affect any normal activity for the website. With these four new owners, the website can focus on providing its users with a unique experience when it comes to searching and booking the perfect vacation getaway in Spain, consolidating its activity in the tourism industry and gearing up for any future growth plans.
