Shwe Property rebrands after securing funding from a Series B round back in August of this year.

ShweProperty.com has undergone a brand refresh campaign with new site updates, logo, and messaging. The news comes off the back of fresh US $3m Series B raise in August 2019

“The new brand design marks the start of a new era for Shwe Property. We are inventing the future for property buyers in Myanmar, our new brand and logo are designed to symbolize the easiest, safest, and most reliable solution to buy, sell, and rent property online.”

— Justin Sway CEO of ShweProperty.com

Shwe property’s rebranding is not just cosmetic. In addition to the new graphic entity, the company’s revamped website reflects a broader, technology-driven approach targeted to three primary segments; consumers, agents, and property developers. Shwe Property has released enhanced products and features that allow users to easily navigate and search for property, including sophisticated search algorithms, which is data-driven to provide more relevant and real listings on the platform, especially given the enormous magnitude of fake or duplicate listings in emerging markets on other property websites.

“Shwe Property operates on the philosophy that everyone deserves a home. We have created a new brand design across all channels and all touch points, aiming for the future of buying and selling property to be transparent, holistic, and most reliable solution in the market, backed by the most professional sales team, providing unparalleled consumer support.”

— Kevin Goos, MD of Shwe Property.com

The addition of new home loan features and newly launched Home Loan Service Center, continues Shwe Property’s efforts to streamline the home loan application process, acting as the first mover in the online mortgage service sector between property buyers and banking partners. The approach supports the online to offline transaction model and services the capital city of Yangon, with a population of 7.5 million.

Shwe Property has also implemented a “Environmental and Social Action Plan” (ESAP) to further enhance the Brand Refresh into the organization and drive company growth responsibly. The company was founded in 2011, boasts 100,000 active listings. Shwe Property has over 150+ full time staff, servicing tens of thousands of sales inquiries monthly, and is the largest and most recognized property portal in Myanmar.

The newly refreshed branding, home loan features, and revamped website, comes off the back of a fresh funds raise of US $3 Million Series B with Emerging Markets Investment Advisors (EMIA) leading the round, followed by 500 StartUps; Simon Baker (ex-Chairman iProperty and Mitula Group); the family office of Dinh Thi Hoa, (Chairwoman Galaxy Media & Entertainment Vietnam) and existing investors Vostok New Ventures (Nasdaq Stockholm) and a UK Based Investment fund also participating in the round. The in-depth transaction financial and legal due diligence was undertaken by Deloitte.
