The Axel Springer subsidiary AVIV Group plans to hire 300 employees for its French operations in 2023.
In comments made to French agency publication MySweetImmo, AVIV France Managing Director Caroline Evans de Gantès and CPO Benoît Jolin confirmed that the company plans to onboard more staff for Tech, Product and Data roles at a time when many in the industry are reducing headcount.
"At AVIV, we are convinced that it is the collective that drives growth and not the other way around. At a time when our hiring projections are going against the decisions made by large Tech companies, I want to make a promise. We will, thanks to our tech investments, write the future of real estate, a more accessible, simple, transparent and efficient future. It is this challenge that future AVIVers will be able to take up by joining us", said Evans de Gantès.
As well as German #2 portal Immowelt and Belgian leader Immoweb, AVIV Group operates French market-leading real estate vertical SeLoger and the seller lead generation platform Meilleurs Agents. The company plans to double the number of visits to its French assets by 2025
"AVIV's ambition is clear: to simplify the real estate experience to bring more transparency and fluidity. By joining us, Product & Tech profiles choose a business project that has a direct impact on society, both for individuals and professionals. Joining us is therefore betting on an ambitious, societal and innovative project ”, commented Benoît Jolin.
In a rather stagnant French market in which a high percentage of transactions do not involve an agent, AVIV has made a big effort to attract and monetise seller leads through a commission-share model.
