French portal SeLoger has launched a further turnkey solution intended to boost the visibility of real estate advertisements, swiftly after announcing the introduction of its Neo Extend programme for listings for newbuild properties.
With Boost Extend +, SeLoger promises greater visual impact in ads—including a fairly straightforward "make the ad twice as big on the web page".
On top of that, boosted listings will also be able to choose two extra scrolling photos, a teaser for the full property description, and a differentiated banner colour to draw the eye.
Boosted ads will receive this preferable treatment for 24 hours on the SeLoger and Logic-Immo sites.
Furthermore, ads will be retargeted to audiences via banner ads on websites including Le Monde and L' Équipe through a partnership with ad retargeting specialist Crieto—a feature also introduced on the Neo Extend product launched last month.
Meanwhile, the new product bears a significant resemblance to another recent premium feature introduced by French rival Leboncoin, which also boosts visibility for listing agents willing to pay—a feature that we spotted less than two weeks before SeLoger's Neo Extend offering came out. Clearly French portals are thinking along the same lines when it comes to increasing traction in slow market conditions!
SeLoger recently found itself in hot water when the European Center for Digital Rights accused the portal of illegally collecting users' personal data, including the local IP address of users, via the SeLoger mobile app.
