SEEK improves graduate prospects with acquisition of GradConnection

SEEK, the online job classifieds and service business, has recently acquired GradConnection, graduate job marketplace, in hopes of broadening the network of candidates completing their educations.

The acquisition, to be announced on Tuesday, will have SEEK buy 100 per cent of the Sydney-based start-up for an undisclosed sum. GradConnection was launched in 2008 by three New Zealanders, Mike Casey, Dave Jenkins and Dan Purchas, who came to Australia to launch a graduate job website.

The platform helps link student and graduates with job opportunities as they come into the workforce.
