Rentnaija, a real estate company in Nigeria, has recently launched a new website to help locals find affordable homes and lodgings for the growing traffic experienced on their former platform.
This, according to the Chairman of the company, Dapo Wahab, in Lagos, is a step aimed at creating a better online experience for both house hunters and other stakeholders in the real estate industry.
Wahab explained that this move had been in the pipeline for over a year and that it was borne out of determination to create a solution for many teething problems inhibiting the property market in Nigeria.
According to him, rentnaija’s mission is threefold; to connect real estate buyers and sellers, transparency and trustworthiness.
To this end, he said that property developers, landlords, estate agents and anyone eager to market any property would be able to upload them freely on rentnaija.com and expect to be contacted directly by prospective buyers in no time.
He said: “The new portal has features such as property video tour, and goggle map location , among others to enable informed decision-making on the side of buyers.
“This will help to reduce the time wasted by house seekers when trying to decide on which house to rent or buy.”
He called all well-meaning realtors, estate agent, property developers and landlord to leverage on the free platform to connect with intending-customers.
Speaking further, Chief Technical Officer of rentnaija, Zenos Rowland, said the new portal was mobile friendly and capable of hosting tens of thousand of property without any hitch.
