The recruitment carousell continues to spin. Here's a selection of the biggest movers we've spotted recently.
PropertyGuru Group, Southeast Asia’s leading, property technology company, has announced that CTO Manav Kamboj will assume leadership of PropertyGuru Fintech as managing director with immediate effect.
PropertyGuru has had a fintech arm since 2020, brokering a reported S$3Bn in homes loans as of Q3 2022.
Kamboj joined PropertyGuru as its Chief Technology Officer in 2017. He said:
“I am excited about my new role as MD, Fintech and the opportunities that are out there in helping the consumers maximise the value of their property assets.
“Our focus will be on developing products and solutions for the mortgage market that guide the home buyers’ financing needs and that are more often than not the biggest hurdle in their homeownership journey.”
Adevinta CFO Uvashni Raman is to leave the company this year after stepping down. She will leave the company in autumn 2023, with Adevinta already on the lookout for her successor.
Raman has been at Adevinta since 2019. She said:
“I feel privileged to have been part of the journey to create Adevinta as an independent organisation, its IPO in 2019 and impressive growth since. We have built a strong finance organisation and am proud of our many achievements, including the acquisition and integration of eBay Classifieds Group."
Leboncoin, Adevinta's marketplace horizontal in France, has appointed Amandine de Souza as its new managing director, starting April 2023.
She replaces CFO Marc Brandsma—who became interim CEO at leboncoin in October 2022.
She said:
“I am very excited to join a company that plays such a big role in the daily lives of French consumers. By providing a marketplace for people to buy and sell second-hand goods, leboncoin is at the forefront of the circular economy and helps consumers make more sustainable choices.”
Antoine Jouteau, CEO at Adevinta, said:
“Amandine has an impressive track record leading growth businesses and, thanks to her background in retail, an excellent understanding of customer needs.”
