Point2 hits another traffic milestone with 8M visits last month

Real estate marketplace Point2 Homes breaks a new traffic record of 8.1 million visits in April 2019 . Organic traffic represented a staggering 80% of the total volume. At a local level, Toronto, ON and New York, NY stand out as the most attractive real estate markets on the platform

Real estate portal Point2 Homes surpassed a new traffic milestone of 8 million visits in April 2019 . This translates into over 46 million pageviews and represents a 42% boost over the same month last year.

Organic traffic not only accounted for an astounding 80% of the visits on the platform, but it also increased by 57% year-over-year. Moreover, 46% of visits were from new users.

Traffic initiated by Canadian visitors had a 60% share from the total traffic volume and also went up by 35% from a year ago. Toronto, ON continues to be the most appealing local market, attracting more than 645,000 visits and registering the largest year-over-year boost (+65%). Ottawa, ON was next on the list with 232,000 visits, while Winnipeg, MB registered the second highest increase in traffic, 52% from the same month last year.

U.S. visits recorded the biggest jump at 61%. The main traffic generator was New York, NY , bringing in 31% more visits this April than the same month last year.  The cities with the highest year-over-year traffic hikes were Atlanta, GA (94%) and Dallas, TX (64%).

International destinations also remained popular on the Point2 Homes platform. Mexico continues to generate the most visits, while Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic both showing the biggest traffic increases, 42%, and 55% respectively.

Point2 Homes generated 23% more leads for real estate agents this April compared to the same month last year. By taking advantage of the portal's advertising options, both Point2 and non-Point2 members can benefit from the huge surge in traffic and the increased exposure in front of millions of potential home buyers.
