Julie Simpson has been appointed to Adevinta's board of directors, replacing Marie Oh Hubar.
Simpson currently fills three roles at eBay: vice president, head of internal audit, and chief audit executive.
Adevinta holds a close relationship with eBay since an acquisition deal worth in excess of $9Bn in 2020, with eBay taking a stake in Adevinta as part of the buyout.
Meanwhile, former Adevinta and Schibsted CEO Rolv Erik Ryssdal has been appointed chairman of the board of directors at Simployer, an HRtech company based in Norway. Simployer operates in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Poland, with 1.2M users.
Australia-based property portal Domain Group has appointed Shane Watt as Chief Information Security Officer.
Watt's previous roles include the same titles at Australia's largest construction materials company Boral and News Corp Australia.
David Doctorow has stepped down as CEO of Move Inc, the parent company for US portal Realtor.com after three years in the role.
Doctorow took the reins of Realtor.com in February 2020, a month before the global pandemic took hold. He guided the company to revenue growth of 50% between 2020 and 2022.
Realtor.com is owned by Move Inc, which is in turn owned by media giant Newscorp.
Doctorow will be succeeded by Damien Eales, a long-time Newscorp executive, in June.
Pablo Londono has been appointed Chief Financial Officer at Dubizzle as the Group readies itself for an IPO.
Londano brings 15 years of experience as CFO at Amazon to the table, during which time he handled the company's MENA operations.
