September 12, 2020

In recent funding news, property marketplace Orchard has raised $69 million in a Series C equity funding round. The round was led by Revolution Growth, and it brings the total equity raised to $138 million.

Court Cunningham, CEO and Co-Founder of Orchard, said:

"We're thrilled to have a partner in Revolution Growth who has extensive experience working with transformative growth stage consumer businesses that are upending traditional industries. In the year ahead, we'll be launching an exciting suite of new products and services that further modernize the home purchase experience, while also offering our services to new markets throughout the country.”

Orchard is an avenue for those to buy their next home first before they sell their old one. They provide this service completely online, making it perfect for a pandemic world.

The platform will use the funding to expand its product offerings further, as well as boost growth throughout its Colorado, Georgia, New York, and Texas teams, with plans to expand into more markets next year.
