British portal OnTheMarket is putting its name to a new three-part television series, Finding the Cornish Dream.
The majority agent-owned portal company will be sponsoring the show that starts on the 27th of August. The program follows estate agents in the southwest region of Cornwall as they show potential buyers around luxury coastal homes and discuss some of the themes around the local market such as a lack of inventory and second home ownership.
Speaking about the launch of the series, OnTheMarket CEO, Jason Tebb said:
“Following our major website and brand refresh at the end of last year, we’re proud to do things differently and our involvement in the series is a major next step forward for us as we increase our brand awareness among consumers and champion some of the best local agents in the industry.”
OnTheMarket isn't the only real estate portal company around the world that has put its name to aspirational property shows for the branding boost. Australian portal Domain has taken advantage of its parent company (Nine Entertainment) running a TV channel and has been the longtime sponsor of the wildly popular series The Block which sees couple renovate apartments in a block which are then sold at auction.
