The majority agent-owned British property portal OnTheMarket has announced that it has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with specialist data company Sprift.

The agreement will see OnTheMarket's customers given access to Sprift's customisable market appraisals which they can use to gain more instructions from potential vendors.

Speaking about the partnership, OnTheMarket's CEO, Jason Tebb said: “Providing enhanced data and market intelligence for agents is a priority for OnTheMarket and we’re very pleased to partner with Sprift to offer our agents ‘best in class’, free and easily generated data-rich Market Appraisal Guides."

“Working with the Sprift team closely over the past few months, we’ve been consistently impressed by their approach and ambition.”

The announcement is essentially an extension of an agreement announced in May which saw OnTheMarket launch its own white labelled Market Appraisal Guides which were powered by Sprift. The new version of the agreement will allow OnTheMarket to purchase Sprift's SmartMail prospecting system which provides multi-trigger mailings to specifically targeted properties, whether they are listed with another agent or not even on the market at all.

Sprift is a British property data resource company that provides similar services to Rightmove's Plus suite. The company's services have also previously been tapped by challenger portal OneDome which signed a partnership with Sprift in July 2021 under which Sprift’s data on all UK houses and market insights were available to OneDome members for six months before they are offered the option to sign up for a premium version of OneDome.
