At the recent Google Cloud Next '19 conference, Namely, a leading HR platform for mid-sized companies, announced it has joined the Google Cloud Partner Program as a Cloud Identity technology partner. This collaboration will give Namely customers greater options to unite their HR and identity solutions in order to simplify user lifecycle management and improve security.
As a Google Cloud partner, Namely will offer customers a more robust Human Resources Information System (HRIS) solution, which is often the single source of truth and system of record for HR personnel and IT decision-makers alike. Employee identities and attributes are created in their HRIS tool when employees join the company, and are updated as employees get promoted, change roles, or leave the company. Until now, these changes needed to be made in a number of different systems, which was often a headache for IT and led to data fidelity, duplicated workflows, and security concerns.
With this integration between Namely and Google Cloud, customers can expect:
"Today's HR teams amass huge amounts of sensitive data. As such, they require smart, hard-working tools that protect this data but are also easy to use," said Graham Younger, president and chief revenue officer, Namely. "Our new collaboration with Cloud Identity gives Namely customers an elegant and secure solution to help HR professionals and organizations be more productive."
Cloud Identity enables employees to work from anywhere, on any device, with one-click access to all the apps they need. Employees can focus on their work, and you can more easily manage thousands of identities as people join, move, and leave the organization. The single sign-on supports SAML 2.0 and OpenID and works with hundreds of applications out of the box, including SAP SuccessFactors, Salesforce, as well as Google Cloud Platform and G Suite apps like Docs and Sheets.
