The Sydney Swans recently announced realestate.com.au, Australia’s top property portal, as the club’s new Major Partner and Official Property Search Partner.

The three-year deal provides realestate.com.au with access to a suite of digital assets, as well as increased presence at all Sydney Swans home matches, in the form of at-ground branding and a new exclusive realestate.com.au hospitality lounge directly beneath the scoreboard. Realestate.com.au will also adorn the back of their playing guernsey.

The partnership builds on the successful relationship enjoyed by the Swans and realestate.com.au over the past four seasons. During this time the realestate.com.au brand has taken pride of place on the SCG scoreboard on match days, while the now iconic ‘Front Yard Footy Club’ house at the ground has offered a unique match-day hospitality experience for guests.

Sydney Swans CEO Tom Harley said the club is excited to be strengthening its relationship with one of Australia’s most progressive and successful brands.

“We’ve really enjoyed working with realestate.com.au over the past four seasons and we’re thrilled that they have increased their commitment to our team,” Harley said.

“Both organisations share a passion for creating unique experiences that Australians love – for us it’s on match days at our home at the SCG, while realestate.com.au is focused on helping connect Australians with their own home.

“It’s a significant consideration for our football club to feature a brand on our apparel. We believe realestate.com.au is a wonderful fit and we look forward to working together to continue delivering unique experiences for our 61,912 members and 1.2 million supporters.”

REA Group CEO Owen Wilson said: “With 8.7 million people coming to realestate.com.au each month1, we are reaching more Australians than ever before, particularly in New South Wales, where audience engagement continues to accelerate.

“After four successful seasons, we’re thrilled to take our partnership to the next level. NSW is an incredibly important market to our business and this major partnership creates enormous potential for us to drive loyalty and engagement with our customers and consumers.

“I know Tom and the Swans team value our partnership and we look forward to deepening our ties.”

The Sydney Swans Football Club is the oldest and largest AFL club in Sydney. Established in 1874 as the South Melbourne Football Club, the Swans relocated to Sydney in 1982 and made their home at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The Swans have the largest membership base of any sporting team in Sydney with 61,912 members in 2019 and 1.2 million supporters.
