Workplace experience platform, Lane, has recently announced its US expansion following a $2.5 million funding round led by Alate Partners alongside Panache Ventures and Colliers/Techstars.
This recent injection of funding will be used for key new hires and office openings in the US including New York, which opened in April, and Los Angeles, slated for Q3 of this year. This mass expansion is a part of a strategic plan to dominate the proptech space in efforts to transform the way people interact with the places they work, and the people they work with. In addition to US expansion, Lane has also established partnerships with Brookfield, Dream, and Colliers, bringing their global SQ FT coverage to 68 million.
Founded by Clint Robinson and Kofi Gyekye the two bring a young, fresh technology-first approach to the real estate industry. Robinson, the CEO, created his first successful company at 15, and since then has continued to use technology to solve problems in the media, retail, and healthcare industries. Gyekye, CPO, works with designers, developers, and marketers to make world-class workplace experiences more accessible. Before Lane, he co-founded an award-winning digital agency, was recognized in Marketing Magazine’s “30 Under 30”.
Since launching in 2015, Lane’s technology has been able to increase engagement 20 times its previous amount in existing buildings while seeing an influx of both tenants, office managers, and landlords partaking in building-centric activities. Furthermore, companies have seen a 13-fold increased reach when it comes to employee communication and interaction while experiencing 2.2 times the ROI from improved productivity as a result of the implemented technology.
