Lamudi co-founder Kian Moini has left his position as CEO after the business was acquired by Digital Classifieds Group (DCG) last month.

A LinkedIn post confirmed his departure.

"I am very proud about what Lamudi has accomplished to date with market leading positions in Indonesia, the Philippines and Mexico and the truly exceptional technology we have built particularly for the transactions side of the business.

"While there is still a long road of value-creation ahead, my mission has been accomplished and I am very glad to pass the business on to Digital Classifieds Group as operating shareholders knowing that Lamudi markets and technology will be the center of the group's attention.

"10 years of sweat. Mission accomplished."

DCG is now officially Asia's second-largest property portal operator after the acquisitions of Lamudi in Indonesia and the Philippines in October, and BProperty (Bangladesh) in January.
