Helsinki iBuyer Kodit.io has announced a successful round of €100 million in a combination of equity and debt. The round was led by NREP, a leading real estate investor in the Nordic region. Kodit plans to use the combination equity and debt to fund new home purchases for its real estate inventory and expand its influence to new markets.

Having NREP as a backer is a huge deal for Kodit, as NREP has over €5.5 billion assets under management. NREP invests in forward-moving platforms within the real estate industry. Kodit has a customer-based website with big goals for its future.

Kodit.io Founder Kalle Salmi explained:

“We have grown to a level where we are ready to absorb institutional real estate capital and I could not think of a better partner than NREP to do that with. They are true forerunners and innovators in the real estate industry.”

Jani Nokkanen, Chief Investment Officer at NREP, said:

“We have been very impressed by Kodit.io’s ability to combine sophisticated technology and robust operations in providing liquidity to housing markets and the most flexible solutions for home sellers and buyers. We are delighted to support Kodit.io in their growth journey.”
