The Municipality of Assen has announced that they will continue their partnership with the freelance platform Jellow.
Just recently, the signature has been inked on a two year contract with an option for two more years. Jellow emerged from the tender as the best party for hiring freelancers.
Co-Founder of Jellow Lars Evers is very pleased with this partnership. “In recent years we have already had a very pleasant cooperation with the municipality. We were able to build a freelance pool for them and proved that this enabled the municipality to find their freelancers quickly and easily. Because they no longer need an intermediary, they have already saved tons on their hiring in recent years,” says Evers. "It is therefore all the more beautiful that we were also the best at this tender."
According to Evers, it is especially nice to see that the Municipality of Assen has chosen an innovative way and has not automatically fallen back on the traditional way of hiring and tendering. This typifies the entrepreneurial nature of the people at the municipality. According to Evers, this collaboration is the proof that a combination between innovative scale-ups such as Jellow and government agencies can work very well. But also how northern companies can work together. "As long as both parties are open and willing to make a start."
