Italian iBuyer Casavo Buys PropTech Realisti.co

October 20, 2020

The Milan-based iBuyer Casavo has acquired listing-tech provider Realisti.co, a company that provides virtual tours for an undisclosed sum. As an iBuyer with a built-in portal, Casavo has been using Realisti.co software to create virtual tours to market its properties for some time and was sufficiently impressed by the quality of the service that it decided to acquire the company.

Speaking of his company’s acquisition, Casavo Founder and CEO Giorgio Tinacci commented: “We have always considered collaboration with agents a fundamental element of our business and this investment allows us to consolidate the technology we offer to our partners.”

The deal will see Realisti.co and its 15 employees stay a largely independent entity and will see its services marketed to Casavo’s 2,000 odd strong agent network across 6 Italian cities. The news comes on the back of Casavo’s recent expansion abroad to Madrid, a city in which it is the first iBuyer to operate marketing properties it owns both on its own domain as well as local portals such as idealista via its agent network.
