Irish PropTech startup Offr has raised €3 million in seed round funding from investors such as Barclays, Delta Partners and AIB as it looks to bring its mission to digitise the buying, selling and leasing process for agents and buyers to The UK and Australia. The company was founded some 9 months ago by Robert Hoban, Niall Dawson, and Philip Farrell, who between them have extensive experience in the property and technology sectors including with Bidx1, REA Group and Savills.
The company was initially looking to raise around €1 million in the round so the result is something of a coup for the Dublin based firm. The company has built a white-labeled platform that can be hosted over estate agents’ own sites and lets buyers submit offers securely and alerts agents in real-time as well as allowing digital signatures and paperwork management. In March Offr claimed to have facilitated the first truly online end-to-end property transaction.
