Woman owned and focused coworking operator, The Wind, has launched a new program to support women founders in time for International Women's Day.

The program, dubbed The Guild, will allow 13 female business owners to partner with The Wing’s new location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for one year.

The company will provide custom programming and mentorship for The Guild’s inaugural class throughout the year. Eventually, The Wing hopes to roll out this initiative throughout all of its markets.

Since its founding in 2016, the company has raised $117.5 million in over two years and hosted notable women such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jennifer Lopez, Hillary Clinton and more.

After coworking giant WeWork sold off its stake in The Wing, the company maintained fast growth and increased funding.

Now, the company has 12,000 members across 11 coworking spaces in New York, Washington D.C., Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles and London and has plans to expand to six more spaces by the end of 2020.
