Idealista Launches new Tool to Help Organize Duplicate Listings

April 11, 2021

Idealista has launched a new feature that helps home hunters see properties listed by multiple agencies or individuals on idealista and other portals so they can make better decisions when looking for their dream home. The feature comes with push notifications that will alert a user if the price changes, if the advertisement is taken down, or if there is a new advertisement with duplicate listings.

The duplicate control tool allows home hunters to be up to date with the cheapest rate for a listing, keeping every advertisement for a listing in one place for easy access.

With duplicate control, users can:

  • See the total number of duplicated listings, this includes price changes and their updates and which ones have been taken off the market, and when a new duplicate is posted
  • Receive notifications for updates on a saved listing since you last visited

For agents, they can only view duplicates of their own properties for sale. In order to see duplicates of a specific property, a listing for it has to be published. Only then will the identified duplicate listings show up for the agent.

The tool is located in the Properties section of idealista/tools and is updated daily.
