After its pilot program, the exponential growth of 370% in rental applications has been registered, exceeding the growth rate of its direct competitors.
“New York City represents huge growth potential for Badi in the United States for its early adoption of co-living. The results of a survey conducted by Badi of citizens residing in the city reveal that 82% believe that co-living is an upward trend and would be willing to adhere to it. These numbers and the opinion that I have received from several experts in the sector allow me to predict a positive impact in the United States similar to the one we have harvested in Europe starting with New York City" said Carlos Pierre, CEO of Badi.
Badi uses an algorithm based on information such as age, gender, interests, and lifestyle preferences to assist users in finding rooms on the platform.
According to the company, they can also handle payments on the platform. Thanks to its A.I., Badi’s algorithm can evaluate behavioral data for “more quality connections between renter and seeker.”
“Every major city around the world is suffering from over-crowdedness and increasing rent prices. The strong interest from the participants in our beta group alongside the findings from our 2020 survey on NYC indicates that city dwellers are warming up to the idea of sharing and co-living arrangements," explained Pierre.
During its beta in NYC, Badi found that co-living is a growing trend and living spaces with shared resources are viewed favorably.
