Leading Turkish real estate marketplace, Hürriyet Emlak, is celebrating 15 years in service with a fresh new brand name: Hepsi Emlak.

Founded in 2006, Hepsi Emlak started out as part of media company, Hürriyet Newspaper, where it then grew into the brand it is today, a real estate classifieds marketplace, which was established two years ago.

Theo Mseka, CEO of Hepsi Emlak, commented on the rate at which the company has transformed in just 2 years:

“Over the last 2 years, we have been obsessed with creating a world-class experience for both the Turkish consumer as well as our corporate users - Real Estate Agents and Property Developers. As we celebrate our 15th anniversary and also approach the completion of our core transformation, it made sense for us to look forward at our growth phase. It hasn’t been an easy journey to revamp our technology, systems, and processes whilst also changing our culture from media-minded to a pure technologically and digitally driven player. We’ve gotten to a point we believe we have shifted significantly from our Hürriyet beginnings and now operate as a technology-led startup despite our 15-year history. We’ve only been separated from Hürriyet, since the business was sold, for 3 years so we see ourselves as a 'proptech startup.”

Within the last two years, Hepsi Emlak has rebuilt its technology offerings and hired more specialized staff to bring the Turkish market a better option for real estate transactions online. Following this goal, the company rebranded to Hepsi (meaning ‘All or Every’ in Turkish) Emlak (meaning ‘Property’).

Mseka said:

"We set ourselves the goal of having the most comprehensive real estate experience in Turkey. We strive to provide our users with the widest range and highest quality real estate listings tailored for all budgets and needs. Hepsi Emlak will sustain our investment in innovative products and services by building and incorporating new capabilities into our platform and ecosystem. We aim to live up to the word Hepsi and expand our ecosystem to cater for All of our consumer’s and customer’s needs.”

Turkey is an emerging market with great potential, says Mseka. It already has one of the larger markets when it comes to the annual number of transactions in the region. Hepsi Emlak is perfectly positioned to continue this growth and offer the market a one-stop-shop for all real estate needs.

Mseka concluded:

“We are now ready for aggressive growth and our focus for the upcoming period is customer acquisition without shifting attention from our consumer’s needs. Hepsi Emlak has already been the leading real estate vertical in Turkey for 15 years and we now have everything in place to propel the business forward in terms of customer base and diversity of listings which will further satisfy Turkey’s home buyer and tenant needs. We offer a great service at a fair price and we compete effectively on the marketing front so we are confident that the market will reward us for our consistency as well as our innovative approach to creating solutions that make the everyday lives of our customers more convenient.”
