The leading Hungarian classifieds operator Ingatlan has announced that it has launched 'United Platforms' to bring together its assets under one brand.
In September 2023 Ingatlan announced the acquisition of horizontal marketplace Jófogás along with autos portals Használtautó.hu and Autónavigátor from Adevinta for an undisclosed sum.
Prior to the deal, Ingatlan only operated the eponymous market-leading real estate portal and did not operate in any other verticals. Having teamed up with local horizontal marketplace Vatera.hu to finance the Adevinta deal, however, the group now operates real estate, media, mortgage, autos and general classifieds assets in the country.
United Platforms brings together all assets under one brand and employs more than 300 people.
Commenting on the move in a Linkedin post, Ingatlan's CEO Jósef Keleti said
"We have come a long way with the ingatlan.com and Adevinta teams over the past few months, one of the fruits of which is the new employer brand under whose umbrella we continue to go forward together as United Platforms.
I am extremely proud of our organization with more than 300 employees, and I would like to thank all colleagues for their tireless work that made it possible for the UP brand to be born, special thanks David Szaller!
Although the "UI" has been revamped, professionalism, competence and our values are the same, and individual brands continue to operate on our platforms unchanged. I'm excited to see what the future holds for us, we continue to strive for continuous improvement, always UP!"
