Leading video-based skills training platform, GoReact, has recently announced the conclusion of a $4 million growth investment spearheaded by Five Elms Capital alongside multiple new faces.

For the past six years, GoReact has provided educators with a platform to personalize skill coaching for students. The platform includes an easy-to-use interface and a powerful set of review, commenting and assessment tools to help students develop job-ready skills. The company plans to use the new funding to accelerate product development and expand into new verticals where skill coaching is needed.

“We’re thrilled with the confidence of both existing and new investors in GoReact’s growth and compelling story,” said Ken Meyers, founder and CEO of GoReact. “The additional funding will allow us to continue to innovate on our skill coaching platform, changing the way educators teach job-ready skills to the next generation of leaders”

The new funding closes out a stellar 2018 for the company, which included announcements of major partnerships with Macmillan Learning and McGraw-Hill Education, reaching a milestone of deployments in more than 500 university campuses, and being named the 4th-fastest growing company in Utah.

“Five Elms is excited to support the GoReact team as they continue to improve the way educators use video to teach important skills,” said Joe Onofrio, Managing Director at Five Elms Capital. “Ken and his team have built a world-class product and fostered an impressive company culture, laying the groundwork for the next stage of growth.”

The company was also excited to add University Venture Fund’s impact fund to its shareholder group as part of the round.

“The staff and students in our Impact Investing group are very impressed by GoReact’s ability to increase the efficacy of teachers who train future teachers,” said Jeramy Lund, the fund’s managing director. “The initial focus on high-impact fields like American Sign Language, nursing and special education furthered our desire to make an impact investment in the company. We’re excited to see the difference GoReact will make in these fields and others in the future.”
