Bien'ici, the number three real estate portal in France, has increased its market share by more than 10% in the last 12 months despite overall market growth of less than 1.5% in France.
The portal, which is also majority-owned by the French Real Estate Agents Association (FNAIM), now achieves more than 15M visits to its website every month and represents the interest of over 15,000 real estate agents in France.
Other findings include a 43% decrease in demand for real estate and an increase in listing periods for agents before a property sells. Sales now take 67 days to complete, up from an average of 54 days in 2021.
Meanwhile, CEO Cyril Janin has also announced that the portal is set to debut some new features at the upcoming RENT conference in Paris, including a reoptimized 3D map and a new search feature for sorting properties according to their Energy Performance rating.
Bien'ici will also add a search feature specifically for buyers with reduced mobility as it seeks to cater to a broader range of individual needs for buyers.
Bien'ici is the only one of France's major portals to restrict FSBO listings—a point Janin was keen to make in an open letter to all French real estate agents which he penned this summer.
