Mexican portal and iBuyer hybrid Flat.mx has teamed up with real estate technology platform Alohome to accelerate technological innovation in the local industry.
The alliance will focus on the underserved real estate buyers and developers segments of the market, while Alohome says the partnership aims to accelerate the sale of its 2,300 unit-strong inventory.
A post published on Flat.mx's LinkedIn profile included the following statement:
This partnership will allow us to benefit both developers and buyers of new homes to a great extent.
With this collaboration, Alohome will be able to directly manage, control and publish its inventory on our platform, which will allow it to reach a wider audience and more potential customers.
The firms will work together to develop a new service focused on generating leads in fewer clicks and from one centralized space.
Flat.mx operates as a traditional portal and also offers an iBuying solution via internally financed credit lines.
The announcement comes just a week after Alohome closed a partnership with Flat.mx-owned data analytics company Intelimétrica.
Bernardo Cordero, co-founder at Flat.mx, said:
“Reaching more users and potential customers in a fast, agile and simple way thanks to the integration of data, reinforcing our value proposition of making home buying accessible thanks to data and technology.”
Eduardo Orozco, CEO and co-founder of Alohome, said:
“Our clients will now have the capacity and the best option to improve the distribution of their houses and apartments.”
Alohome is a Mexican proptech that operates in Mexico, Colombia and Brazil.
Flat.mx was founded in 2019 and has raised $50M in investment according to Crunchbase.
