Dot Property Thailand Awards 2020 Goes without a Hitch

Slowly it seems that conferences in certain parts of the world are switching back to in-person from either completely virtual or put on hiatus. One such is this year’s Dot PropertyThailand Awards. There were 25 winners in total and the event took place in the Park Hyatt Bangkok earlier this month.

The reason for an in-person conference when the world is still working to find a cure for the deadly disease? Thailand has had rare success in preventing the spread of the disease and the event launched with precautions in place to ensure the safety of the event.

Adam Sutcliffe, Dot Property Director, Events and International Markets, said:

“Hosting an in-person ceremony for the Dot Property Thailand Awards 2020 is a tribute to both the country’s excellent response to COVID-19 and the real estate sector’s ability to overcome challenges brought on by the pandemic.

“This year’s class of winners has proven to be resilient in the face of adversity. We are delighted to have this opportunity to celebrate their hard work.”

Sponsoring the event were Berkeley Group and Savills Thailand, the official Awards Consultants, and VIP Transportation Provider Wearnes Automotive.

Dot Property isn’t the only awards ceremony to hold an in-person event this month. PropertyGuru Cambodia held its 5th annual awards show with similar safety precautions showing that this might be the new norm for conferences in Asia.
