Cornerstone OnDemand announces $18.5M acquisition of Clustree

Cornerstone OnDemand, a world leader in people development solutions, has announced the acquisition of Clustree.

Clustree is a French technology company that has developed an industry-leading skills engine, powered by AI and an extensive history of skills which is being used by world leading brands, including Carrefour and SNCF. The establishment has developed this platform using machine learning and non-biased algorithms to help organizations effectively combine their employees' skills with specific functions. 

This was based on the consolidation of over one billion job skills in multiple languages within a library of 53,000 verified skills that accurately describe any employee profile in any sector.

It is this extensive knowledge of the templates, together with the holistic solution of personal development of Cornerstone will allow its clients to build an inventory of skills, identify the specific areas of growth and development and be able to make better decisions about who to hire.

Cornerstone agreed to acquire Clustree for approximately $18.5 million in a fully cash agreement. The transaction is subject to compliance with certain customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2020.
