Stanza Living is looking to open 50,000 more beds, on top of the combined 10,000 bed count it has in its inventory between Hyderabad, Bangaluru, Pune and Coimbatore, by the first quarter of 2021.

One of India’s largest student housing companies, Stanza Living, has forayed into customized living spaces for working professionals with an eye on the large number of young working population in top cities.

Starting with a combined 10,000 bed capacity across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune and Coimbatore, Stanza Living now hopes to open 50,000 more beds across seven cities by Q1 of 2021.

Anindya Dutta, MD and Co-Founder, Stanza Living, said:

“We plan to invest Rs 150 crore (about US$20 million) over the next few years to expand our footprint in working professionals housing segments. At the same time, the company will continue deepening the foothold of its flagship student housing business in new and existing markets."

Coliving, or a shared living, segment is a modern concept popular in metropolitan cities where like-minded people live in the same house with common kitchen, lounge, work area, etc. with private bedrooms and sometimes private bathrooms.
