Businesses know that millennials are a huge demographic of consumers with specific tastes, Booking.com is no different. In a shocking and creative move, the travel giant has created and launched, for rent in Australia, an avocado-shaped condo in celebration of National Avocado Day at the end of July. Booking.com is a world leader in connecting travelers with one of the largest marketplaces of unique travel destinations and offers for every step of the process.
Stationed in Campbell's Cove Lookout at Sydney's Circular Quay, the Avo-Condo is a self-contained condo that looks exactly like the cross-section of its vegetable namesake, complete with avocado-themed furnishings both inside and out.
Those staying in the Avo-Condo can experience, for two nights, a unique holiday stay overlooking the Sydney Harbor Bridge and Sydney Opera House. Guests will also be offered a spread of avocado-themed goods during their stay.
Offered exclusively through Booking.com for only two nights, those interested must be vigilante, because the offer is opened to consumers across the world at a first-come, first-served basis.
“At Booking.com, we’re proud to offer our customers unique and unforgettable places to stay all over the world”, said Luke Wilson, Area Manager at Booking.com Australia. “Inspired by the world’s obsession with all things avocado, the Avo-Condo is a fun, quintessentially Australian experience like no other. With more than 6 million holiday homes, apartments and other unique stays available on Booking.com, there’s something for everyone to discover!”
