Bird Group’s luxury hospitality brand has decided to tap the coworking market. In its Roseate House hotel in Aerocity, it has earmarked 30,000 sq ft of space for offer to individuals and companies on requirement basis, Ankur Bhatia, Bird Group’s Executive Director, said.
In the year review report, property consultant JLL said that though the coworking segment has faced some disruption globally.
Ankur Bhatia said:
“We continue to witness a lot of traction this space in the country. In terms of supply, some smaller cities have shown a lot of promise.
"Roseate has about 107 seats which will be operational from 9 am to 9 pm every day.
“The trend has changed a bit and though we had planned retail space earlier, keeping in mind the location of the hotel and requirement for the working space, we have decided to go for coworking space."
Bhatia said the coworking space, named Upstage Club, has been designed in 30,000 sq ft (including auditorium) to provide a luxury work environment. The club has two compact meeting halls, a boardroom and a bouquet of small meeting spaces and capsules to suit every need of members who choose to work out of this space.
