The French real estate portal Bien'Ici has announced that Cyril Janin will succeed David Benbassat as the company's CEO.

Bien'Ici's board have seen fit to promote Janin from President of the company to lead the portal into the next stage of its development. The board thanked Benbassat for his work as CEO since its foundation:

"I sincerely thank David Benbassat for the work that has enabled Bien'ici, in less than six years, to become the third most important property portal. Nowadays, Bien'ici has had 156 million visits in 2021, has a turnover growing by nearly 60% and has more than 12,000 active customers. One beautiful page is turning, and a new one is opening: I have full confidence in Cyril and his team to write it and make Bien'ici the reference tool for real estate professionals, recognized by their clients." Jean Marc Torrollion, President of FNAIM and the Bien'Ici Board

Similarly to OnTheMarket in the UK, Bien'Ici is the third-placed real estate portal in its market and is owned and operated by agents. Like its counterpart, it was formed in 2015 as a collective agents' response to a supposed market duopoly. In France the portal competes with Axel Springer owned SeLoger and Logic-Immo and Adevinta owned horizontal LeBonCoin.
