The AVIV Group closed two acquisitions in Germany this month, taking a majority stake in the portals Nutzungsdauer.com and Kaufpreis-Aufteilung.com.
Both businesses provide tax depreciation services for rental properties in Germany, and both of the acquired businesses' services will be integrated into the Immowelt and Immoweb (Belgium) real estate portals in the coming weeks.
Landlords will benefit from tax savings via the services of both businesses, which aim to minimise the tax burden for landlord portfolios.
Piet Derriks, Managing Director of Immowelt, said:
"We have been deeply impressed by the rapid growth of Nutzungsdauer.com's business model in recent years. The added value is clear: [users] get access to professional valuation services that not only secure the value of their property, but also optimize tax depreciation options for them."
Ait Voncke, CEO at AVIV, commenting on LinkedIn:
"I’m proud to officially welcome Nutzungsdauer.com and Kaufpreis-Aufteilung.com to our ecosystem. This acquisition represents a significant step forward in our mission to drive innovation and provide even greater value to our customers. This acquisition reflects our focus on innovation, collaboration, and delivering exceptional solutions for our customers. Let’s continue shaping the future of real estate together!"
AVIV Group, previously owned by Axel Springer, recently fell into the hands of private equity firm KKR and investing partner CPP Investments after a major decoupling of Axel Springer's classifieds division and its media company. Aviv also includes the French real estate portals SeLoger and MeilleursAgents.
The German real estate portal ImmoWelt is historically the number two player in its native market behind Scout24. The local parent company of the German real estate portal Immowelt changed its name to AVIV Germany in February 2024
