UK-based platform adoor has partnered with another—Just Move In—to further ease the home moving process in the UK.

adoor has an app that connects all parties during a home move, from agents to conveyancers, and also provides home movers with guides to making their move easier—while Just Move In handles all the admin of a move, such as organising moving trucks, finding a wi-fi provider, council tax, and gas and electricity.

As part of the partnership, adoor customers will be able to connect with Just Move In via the adoor app in less than three hours.

In a post on Linkedin, adoor founder and CEO Michael Wadsworth said:

"Just Move In are the perfect partner for adoor, continuing our mission to create the ‘home for your house move’ and can now offer an exceptional Home Setup Service that takes all the heavy lifting off the mover if they don't have the time to sort themselves."

This is a really interesting partnership that has the potential to move the needle on what a "zero-stress" move looks like in the UK. Between adoor's admin-reducing app and Just Move In's one-stop-shop offer, there are some nice synergies from which other portals could definitely take a few ideas!

Just Move In won the Pitch Club competition at the Property Portal Watch conference in Madrid in 2022.
