iBuying is huge in the states. With big names like Zillow, Redfin, and Opendoor, the competition is fierce. However, that isn’t deterring any other iBuyers from taking a slice of the pie.

Knock.com’s own service, Knock Home Swap, has expanded into Denver. With this feature, prospective sellers can buy their new house first and then work on selling their home at the highest price possible.

Knock has a network of Certified Agents who help those selling through Knock Home Swap. Sellers can receive financing directly through the platform, allowing them to take immediate ownership of the process and begin earning equity in their new home while skipping the hassle of renovating and prepping their old home for showings.

The service offers a loan without interest, that can be used to cover the down payment on the new home as well as mortgage payments up to $25,000 for home preparation and repairs on the old house. Called the Home Prep Concierge, Knock has a network of contractors to select from and manages the payment of all bills upon the approved completion of the project.

It’s a tempting offer for those stressed about moving and selling at the same time.

Along with the expansion into Denver, and the company’s entry into the Colorado market, Knock has entered a number of partnerships, including RE/MAX Professionals, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Innovative Real Estate, and West + Main Homes. These partners help in the purchase of the new home through Knock Home Swap.

Speaking on the partnership, Alan Smith, Broker and Owner of RE/MAX Professionals, said:

“Providing the opportunity to our clients of selling their current home after they move into their new home, and helping them present an updated home to the market in order to realize top dollar, is an extraordinary privilege. It’s very refreshing to work with a Realtor-friendly company that allows our clients to work with the Realtor they trust.”

Scott Nordby, the CEO and Founder of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Innovative Real Estate agreed. Nordby commented on the services being the perfect offering for their own home buyers and sellers.

From West + Main Homes, Stacie Staud, the co-founder and CEO, explained that the service removes the stress of buying a new home while your original house is still under your name. The goal is to create a seamless service that makes moving exciting, not a headache.

Denver isn’t the only market where Knock Home Swap is available. The service is also present in Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Phoenix, with more markets planned by the end of 2021.
