Predicting how a market will behave is more difficult now than pre-Covid months. Dot Property found that consumers are still wanting to sell property, they just need a way to locate buyers.
The company held a Black Friday Sale on June 19 for just 12 hours where consumers could browse through the most drastically discounted real estate sales of the year. Dot Property Thailand reported record highs of website traffic within those 12 hours and said that the number of real estate transactions that occurred was a significant jump compared to recent numbers.
Speaking on the sale, Chao Zhong, Project Director of The Cloud Thonglor Phetchaburi, said:
“Our team was blown away by the response we received for The Cloud Thonglor Petchburi. We manage to sell nearly THB12 million worth of condo units in the project during the sale. That can be attributed in large part to the comprehensive marketing efforts and reach of Dot Property who knows exactly where the demand for Thailand property is coming at all times.”
Asset Wise Assistant Vice President, Khun Sineenuch Sriumnouy commented that the numbers really proved that Dot Property understands what the buyers want and need to complete a real estate transaction. The Thai consumer is ready to buy as long as the right offer is being made and the real estate market needs to shift to fit those needs as they arise.
Recorded attendance of the event was not just from Thailand (though that country made up the majority of visits with 56 percent), but also from the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, and China. Developers like Risland saw record engagement and saw nearly THB12 million (approximately US$386,000) in condo transactions located in The Cloud Thonglor Petchburi.
The event was a smashing success that proved that there is absolutely a demand for real estate in Thailand. The event gave Dot Property invaluable insight on just what needs to be done to generate leads within the Thai market.
